Currently living in Houston Texas but was raised in sunny San Diego, CA. I'm 22 years old and I've been powerlifting since January of 2018.
How did you get into powerlifting? I got into powerlifting when I started to workout with my two best friends. They both lift at collegiate levels and seeing them compete is what pushed me to compete as well. Since January of 2018 I’ve completed two meets in the USAPL federation.
Team Expectations: As a member of RPS I've grown so much with the help of our amazing coach and teams support. I’m constantly learning and growing. This sport has helped me to become not just physically stronger but mentally as well. Some people that have influenced my powerlifting journey have been Kimberly Walford, Bonica Lough, Heather Connor, Isabella Weissenberg, Maggie Delgado, Daniella Melo, Amanda Kohatsu and numerous others.
Favorite Quote: One of my favorite quotes is "Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time." This quote by Thomas Edison always reminds me to never give up no matter how hard things become and to always persevere whether that be in lifting or in our day to day life. Powerlifting has been a hell of journey for me so far, but this is just the beginning.
